Telling Time!

In Kindergarten, we learn to tell time to the hour (3:00, 7:00, etc.)  We learned a lot of "Time Vocabulary" this week.  These are the words we discussed:

Face

Analog Clock

Digital Clock

Grandfather Clock

Alarm Clock

Hands

Minute Hand

Hour Hand

These are some of our favorite activities we did. 

We read the story Hickory, Dickory, Dock!  We liked finding the rhyming words and telling tell time we saw on each page.

We created this project to go with the story!  We also wrote the poem on the back of the project, so we can remember!

We LOVED reading the story the Grouchy Ladybug! 

We created these lady bug clocks.  These were a great way for us to practice time telling!  They are a great way to practice at home, as well!

We used this large Judy clock a lot this week.  We also practiced using small Judy clocks.

 Overall, we did a great job learning to tell time.  We listened to many time stories, watch time video clips, and practiced telling time in English and Spanish.  Continue to practice telling time at home!
